BY BIKE, DISCOVER LAVAUX AND ITS WINE, DEPARTURE FROM RIVAZ (SWITZERLAND)
Born in 2022, Wine and Ride Lavaux is the latest destination to have opened its doors. Head
for an e-bike on this UNESCO-listed territory, where nearly 450 km of wine terraces share the
breathtaking view of the Alps and Lake Geneva.
You will thus set off on the wine roads, by bike, to meet winemakers, whose internationally
renowned wines are certified Lavaux AOC, but also producers and artisans who contribute to

FAQ
Do you accept children?
We have chosen to offer an adults-only experience.
The routes in Lavaux can be steep and sometimes technical, requiring focus and attention.
Our priority: to offer you a smooth, safe and fully immersive experience.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Weather is part of the experience… but we adapt intelligently.
72 hours before, we confirm the conditions if there is a risk of rain.
If the weather is too rainy:
• the experience can be adapted (walk & train)
• or rescheduled to another date
• or refunded if no alternative suits you
The goal remains the same: to offer you a high-quality experience, no matter what.
What route will we take?
Each experience is unique — and that’s the whole point.
Every ride is designed based on:
• available winemakers
• the group’s energy
• the conditions of the day
The result: a one-of-a-kind experience, far from standard tourist routes.
You don’t follow a program. You live a moment.
Do I need to be an experienced cyclist?
Not at all. E-bikes are here to support you, especially on climbs.
However, it’s important to:
• know how to ride a bike
• feel comfortable on sloped terrain
• and be ready to break a light sweat (especially in summer)
What’s included in the experience?
• E-bike & helmet
• Guidance from local experts
• Meeting with a winemaker
• Wine tasting
• Access to exclusive locations
A full immersion in Lavaux, blending nature, wine and human connection.
How many people are in each group?
We prioritize small groups to ensure an authentic and friendly experience.
For companies or private events, we tailor the format to your needs.
What should I bring?
• A water bottle
• Sunglasses
• A light jacket (windbreaker style)
• Comfortable shoes
We take care of the rest.
Can the experience be privatized?
Absolutely.
Team building, birthdays, corporate events… we create a tailor-made experience aligned with your energy and intentions.
Can I join if I don’t drink alcohol?
Of course.
The experience is above all human and sensory. Non-alcoholic alternatives are available.
Which wine tourism experience should I choose in Lavaux?
It all depends on what you’re looking for.
If you want to:
• avoid standard tourist routes
• enjoy an authentic local experience
• combine nature, cycling and wine
Wine and Ride offers an immersive and responsible way to discover Lavaux.
DISCOVER THE WORKERS OF OUR HERITAGE
Wine and Ride Lavaux has chosen to develop a number of tours to enable working people to take a break from the daily grind.
Oenological discovery remains the main theme of these experiences. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lavaux enjoys international renown for the beauty of its territory, which is unique in the world: its terraced vineyards share the view between the Alpine peaks and magnificent Lake. A singularity that has earned the Lavaux vineyards their own AOC of the same name!
Each experience includes a visit to one of these exceptional estates, as well as a tour of the vineyards and/or cellars, followed of course by a wine tasting.
To date, some fifteen winegrowing partners have chosen to join the Wine and Ride Lavaux adventure.
BOOK AN ELECTRICALLY-ASSISTED BICYCLE (EAB) OR CHOOSE TO EXPERIENCE THE ADVENTURE WITH YOUR OWN BIKE.
Due to the geographical aspect of the area, Wine and Ride recommends reserving an EAB to get the most out of the experience. As the Lavaux terraces are shaped by steep gradients, using an EAB allows cyclists to enjoy the scenery with peace of mind, while limiting the physical effort required. We recommend to be in good physical shape and know how to pedal.
For its fleet of EAB’s, Wine and Ride Lavaux has chosen the Swiss brand Miloo, a specialist in electric mobility and the exclusive partner of Wine and Ride in Switzerland!
ORGANIZE YOUR BACHELOR PARTY WITH WINE AND RIDE LAVAUX
In Lavaux, Wine and ride is the ideal activity for a bachelor party that combines adventure, relaxation and discovery. This unique experience not only allows you to discover the region’s vineyards by bike, but also gives you the opportunity to spend a convivial moment with friends, enjoy a lunch in the heart of nature, and live unforgettable moments together.
